Travel Insurance Officer

Reporting to the General Manager – Marketing and Corporate Affairs, the incumbent shall be responsible with providing efficient and consistent back office support to the Travel Insurance Business processing and, in some instances, the overall Marketing and Corporate Affairs department.
Responsibilities
- Travel policy issuance and debiting.
- Issuance of all embassy letters both for bank clients and direct clients.
- Monthly reporting on travel insurance sales targets.
- Providing all the back-office support to travel insurance marketing initiatives.
- Issuance of travel insurance quotations to direct clients and corporates, compiling necessary reports and obtaining relevant information from reinsurance.
- Managing the back-office travel agent’s relationships by ensuring monthly finance premium statements are sent, and the agents have signed the relevant contract for distribution of insurance and is registered with IRA.
- Managing the card holder’s database under banks select schemes and updating the database regularly in addition to updating the reinsurers database in the pre-set format.
- Using the web to collect client details and contact information.
- End to end claims handling and constant update to the client.
- Administration of the monthly travel reinsurance report.
- Prompt clients serving.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business related field
- Insurance professional papers will be an added advantage
