About the position
Job Summary:Β
Responsible for End user support, Assist on Business applications, Database and Network support and basic administration.
Duties and responsibility
End User Support
β’ Acknowledge IT helpdesk tickets, respond and resolve the IT support issues assigned to you.
β’ Assist IT helpdesk administrator in managing the IT helpdesk tickets.
β’ Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
β’ Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults and replace parts as required
β’ Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports and the roll-out of new applications
β’ Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
β’ Preventative maintenance exercise for the end user equipment.
Business Application, DB and Network Support
β’ Assist in 1st level support of core business applications
β’ Report and liaise with the core system vendors and Manger- Business systems at group level for system related issues that requires 2nd level support.
β’ Manage userβs profiles within all core business applications.
β’ Network security patches download and management for End usersβ computers.
β’ Assist in Network management and Server support management with guidance of Manger- Technical services at the group level.
β’ Assist on End User training on core business system new features and refresher course.
Job Holders Specifications:
Education/Qualifications:
β’ Degree or Diploma in IT /Computer science or related.
β’ IT Network certification.
β’ Microsoft certification.
β’ Oracle administration/developer is an added advantage
β’ IT Security certification is an added advantage.
